From Christmas Chaos to Calm Play: Train Time Sessions Are Back 🎄➡️🚂

If the space between Christmas and New Year has felt a little… loud, you’re not alone.

New toys everywhere. Chocolate at questionable hours. Children who’ve forgotten what routine looks like. And grown-ups wondering how it’s only 9am and everyone already needs something.

That’s exactly why Train Time Play Time exists — and why our January sessions are now going on sale.

A gentle reset after the festive rush

Train Time sessions are designed to offer children what they often crave after the Christmas excitement:

  • familiar routines
  • open-ended, imaginative play
  • space to explore at their own pace

And for parents?
A chance to exhale, enjoy a hot drink, and watch their child fully absorbed in play.

No pressure. No overstimulation. Just proper, joyful train time.

🌱 South London dates coming up

If you’re based further south, there’s plenty to look forward to too:

Tooting – now on sale

We’re back in Tooting on Saturday 17th, with sessions available to book now.
Perfect for a weekend activity that doesn’t involve screens, queues, or planning weeks ahead.

Dulwich – on sale soon

Dulwich sessions will be released shortly — keep an eye on the website and social channels if you’re local, as these often fill quickly.

Why parents love Train Time in January

January can feel long. Cold. A bit flat.

Train Time offers:

  • something to look forward to
  • a reason to get out of the house
  • a familiar, calm environment for children
  • flexible, drop-in style sessions with no termly commitment

It’s a small but meaningful way to bring some calm and joy back into family life after the festive whirlwind.

Whether you’re easing back into routine or just need a plan for the weekend, Train Time is here.
We can’t wait to welcome you back on the tracks.
